Do I need to Prepare before the appointment?

On the day of you appointment remove all eye makeup, do not use oily remover or moisturiser around the eye area as this will affect the adhesion of the lashes. Try to have a look in mind before you come in ask yourself if you want natural or long length and if you want very curled or a more natural shape. A lot will depend on your natural lash, if they are fine and short then it will not be possible to look like Katie Price!! If a lashe that is too heavy or too long for your lash type is applied at best they will droop and at worst they will pull your own lash out.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment takes around 1 and a half hours and during this time the Client lies on a beauty bed with her eyes closed.

How long do they last?

Though the average cycle of a single lash is about 90-120 days, factors such as your eyelash characteristics, lifestyle and general care of your eyelashes will affect how long your lashes will last. You will need infills every 2 –3 weeks but your beautician will give you aftercare advice.

Anything else I should know?

For the first 24 hours it is good not to rub your eyes, go swimming, go in a steam or sauna bath as the bonding glue needs to set properly, after that you can if you want to. It is best not to use any oil based makeup removers or get moisturiser on the lashes and this can weaken the bonds. You can wear mascara but it will shorten the life span of the lashes.
